The ideas are nearly endless, and you are allowed to use any photo or image that you hold the rights to on the custom postage.  The only exceptions to this rule are a few common sense limitations.  For example, you are not allowed to use any obscene or profane images on your custom postage.

Additionally, you are not allowed to use any racist or political messages on your custom postage.  In short, anything that is controversial and could provoke public outrage.  Other than these basic commonsense rules, you are free to use any photo at all on your postage.

But in order to be able to use a picture to make a customized stamp, you must first have the photo in a digital format that can be uploaded online.  This is usually not a problem, as most people now use digital cameras that allow you to transfer photographs to your computer by simply connecting a USB cable.
